Antoine Griezmann does not want to play Atletico anymore. The representatives of the Frenchman contacted Barcelona and said that the player is ready to move to Camp Nou – La Sexta television announced.

Griezmann, a Barcelona player, could have stayed the previous summer, but then he rejected the Catalan offer and signed a new deal with Atletico. He became one of the best-paid players in the entire league, earning 23 million euros for the season, but he left the gate to leave Wanda Metropolitano in the future. The contract included a transfer clause amounting to EUR 200 million, which will be reduced to PLN 120 million in the upcoming transfer window. Barcelona intends to use it.

This is the result of information presented in the program “Jugones” on television La Sexta. According to sources of Spanish journalists, Agent Griezmann gave Barcelona that the player is determined to transfer. This move was to be convinced, above all, by the fatal performance of Atletico in the Champions League. Although Rojiblancos won in the first match of the 1/8 final against Juventus 2-0, in the second leg they squandered the advantage and dropped out of the competition by hat-trick Cristiano Ronaldo.

At the end of March, the president of Atletico Enrique Cerezo announced that the Frenchman “will stay at Atletico on a thousand percent”. The head of the club was to be assured by the footballer himself, but everyone in Madrid knows that Griezmann is sometimes eccentric, so his sudden change of opinion would not be a shock for activists.
