Ter Stegen and Kroos, out of the squad due to injury

The Barcelona goalkeeper and the Real Madrid midfielder, both injured, will not play matches against Belarus and Estonia.

Joachim Löw, has facilitated the list of summoned for the qualifying matches against Belarus (June 8) and Estonia (June 11). A call that leaves two outstanding absences, as is the case of Toni Kroos and Ter Stegen.

The Real Madrid midfielder is down due to not recovering in time from the muscular discomfort that prevented him from playing the last league game against Real Betis. For his part, the goalkeeper of Barcelona caused a loss for the game against Eibar because he suffered discomfort in his left knee, which is why he will also be out for the Copa del Rey final.

These absences are in addition to those already known by Hummels, Boateng and Thomas Müller, who will no longer be part of the ‘Mannschaft’ given Löw’s plan to make way for a new generation of footballers. A strategy shared by the president of the German Football Association, Reinhard Grindel, who said that making them in the pre-Euro 2020 phase “was the right time”

Those summoned by the German coach are: Leno, Neuer, Trapp, Ginter, Halstenberg, Hector, Kehrer, Klostermann, Schulz, StarK, Süle, Tah, Brandt, Draxler, Gnabry, Goretzka, Gundogan, Havertz, Kimmich, Reus, Sané and Werner.
